This short Half-Day Nature Tour in Cusco is perfect for those who wish to enjoy the beauty of the Hummingbirds of Cusco without needing to be expert birdwatcher.
The experience focuses entirely on Ensifera Camp, a peaceful hummingbird garden located in the Sacred Valley. Since hummingbirds feed constantly throughout the day, every hour offers good opportunities to watch them. However, early in the morning the light is softer, and the activity is often more dynamic, making it an ideal time for this visit.
ITINERARY:
Our Cusco birding tour starts at 06:30 am from your hotel in Cusco City and transfer to the Ensifera Camp a «Hummingbird Garden»
When we arrive to Ensifera Camp Hummingbird Garden we’ll go to the birds hide to start with our activity. Hummingbirds or colibris are the smallest birds in the world and are native to the America, their long slender needle bills are adapted for reaching deep into tubular flowers to extract nectar.
It’s a magical chance to connect with nature while observing several colorful species of Hummingbirds of Cusco, including the impressive Giant Hummingbird and other local favorites.

We depart at 10:00 am, returning to Cusco by approximately 12:00 pm, a gentle and inspiring morning immersed in nature at Ensifera Camp.
